Holiday 2024 Gift Guide: Fashion Edition
I'm back with one of my favorite gift guides so far: fashion! I have loved clothes for as long as I can remember. Putting together outfits and capturing them brings me joy every single day! In this gift guide, I've included a selection of my wardrobe staples and favorite pretty items at a range of budgets. I would describe my style as classic and chic with a touch of artsy and sporty flair, so I think there's a something for everyone here!
ALO LEGGINGS, $108
Alo is one of the most popular athleisure brands, and for good reason! Their fabrics are buttery soft and there are so many unique styles that work from yoga class to streetwear. I treasure my Alo pieces and am always eager to see what new sets and designs they come out with!
BARRY CARDIGAN, $120
Sézane is a French brand well-known for their stunning knitwear. The Barry Cardigan is a classic, with its flattering neckline, mother-of-pearl buttons, and soft yarn. It also comes in multiple colors. I've had two for a few seasons and they hold up well! It's hard to find a cardigan of this quality for this price.
EVERLANE CHEEKY JEAN, $98
I've had a couple of pairs of this denim style in my closet ever since they were first released. They are the perfect high-but-not-too-high rise and the cut is spot on: fitted through the hip and thigh but straight at the ankle. They have a zip fly and contain elastane for a super comfortable fit.
ALPHALETE LEGGINGS, $70
These are my absolute favorite leggings for working out, whether I'm doing Pilates or running on the elliptical. The fabric has some sculpting compression to it without being constricting, and the waist never rolls down! They're also sleek enough to wear while out running errands, or just on a comfy day.
SÉZANE SAMI JUMPER, $145
This is my other favorite sweater from Sézane. It's made from merino wool, which is incredibly soft and warm. I have very sensitive skin and merino isn't at all itchy for me. I love the button detail on the sleeves and the pretty ribbed pattern of the fabric as well as the comfort!
NAELLE SKIRT, $175
There isn't much that's more chic for winter than a skirt-and-sweater set. The Naelle skirt matches the Sami sweater and the combo is gorgeous! The skirt is also merino wool sweater fabric, so it's toasty warm for cold weather wear. Of course, these pieces are beautiful on their own as well as together so they're very versatile!
SATIN PULL-ON PANTS, $30
Satin pants have been trending this season, but I feel like they're classic enough to stand the test of time. They add such pretty texture to any outfit and look dressy while feeling like pajamas. There are lots of pricey options out there, but I picked these up from Target and they've been great!
BOATNECK CASHMERE MODAL TOP, $59
This lovely top from Intimissimi is a new staple for me this season, It's made from warm cashmere and soft modal, and the blend is gorgeous. The boatneck detail makes it feel so elevated! This is the perfect elegant basic layer to pair with other pieces. I also have the lace-trimmed version and love that, too.
SHEARLING CLOG SLIPPER, $30
Having cozy slippers in the cold weather is a must, and these might be my favorite pair I've ever had! The shearling is so soft and toasty, and I love how they wrap around the whole foot to lock in heat. The sole is also hardy enough to wear outside, so it's easy to take out the pup or grab the mail without changing.
HALF-ZIP MERINO SWEATER, $148
I've been eyeing this sweater all season and I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it for Christmas. I can't wait! The chunky ribbed knit of the sweater is beautiful, and the heathered oatmeal color goes with everything. This is going to be the perfect warm layer under jackets and coats.
PAPERCLIP CHAIN NECKLACE, $20
The delicate paperclip links in this chain make such a pretty piece. It's simple and unassuming as part of a necklace stack, but also bold enough to wear on its own. I dream of owning a gold paperclip chain someday, but in the meantime, this inexpensive version from Target is perfect and I wear it all the time!
BROWN SUEDE KNEE-HIGH BOOT, $189
Tall boots are an essential for fall and winter outfits because they look amazing with everything Having a pair of tall boots makes it possible to wear dresses into the cooler weather, and they add an extra layer of warmth under pants. My favorite ways to wear them are with mini skirts - with or without tights - or sweater dresses.
MEJURI TUBE HOOPS, $58
Tube hoops are my go-to everyday earring. They're lightweight enough to feel invisible; I've slept in mine a few times because I forgot I hadn't taken them out. They're not too big or too small, but just right! I like to wear gold-tone jewelry, but these also come in sterling silver for those who prefer something cool-toned.
ELLIE NAP DRESS, $150
I had coveted this dress for many months before getting it for my birthday last year. It may not be practical for winter, but it's so comfortable and cool in warmer weather! There are lots of beautiful patterns and colors, and the ruched bodice is equal parts comfortable and flattering. Tip: if you're petite like me, the kid's version saves a lot of money! :)
SÉZANE LÉONTINE SWEATER, $125
Another beautiful Sézane knit, the Léontine sweater is 100% cotton with a pretty henley neckline. For anyone who gets hot easily or has sensitive skin, cotton is a great option! I love the stripes and the navy and white colorway. This sweater looks great dressed up or down and I look forward to wearing it every year.
BROWN SUEDE CHELSEA BOOT, $43
I bought this pair of boots last fall after lots of deliberating, and I'm so glad I finally got them. They're great quality and have held up well through countless dog walks. They're comfortable and go with everything, and the lug sole is so nice for extra grip on slippery sidewalks (a winter non-negotiable for me)!
POLO NECK SWEATER, $32
I love this style of sweater; the buttonless polo neck is such a pretty detail! I've been wanting a polo sweater for quite awhile, but it can be hard to find affordable sweaters that are decent quality. I found this one on Amazon and I'm so glad I got it! The fabric is soft and warm, and it feels more expensive than it actually is.
SOLID GOLD CHAIN NECKLACE, $148
Solid gold jewelry is perfect for wearing all day, every day. It holds up to sweat, soap, and water and is usually tolerated by even the most sensitive skin. I never take this chain off! It's so simple and delicate and adds the perfect amount of sparkle. I love having a permanent piece to make me feel that much more put together all the time.
ZODIAC SIGN NECKLACE, $198
This is my other permanent necklace; you can see both chains together in this photo. I wear the Leo sign for Ryan and the dainty charm adds a little extra interest to my looks. I love the meaning a piece like this can hold; you can pick the sign of yourself or a loved one and hold them close always. This is such a special gift!
